Man charged in May vandalism at Reno City Hall back behind bars

A man who was charged with damaging Reno City Hall last year in a riot has been re-arrested. Police say Ekepati Taua removed his ankle monitor that was part of his release requirements. He and two others are accused of breaking windows at City Hall back in May, causing $14,000 in damage. He’s now being held on $20,000 bail.
