Carson City Fire has a new ladder truck. Ladder 50 was commissioned Wednesday and is expected to be used for the next two decades. The state-of-the-art truck has a 70-gallon compressed air foam system that can extinguish car and dumpster fires. It can also assist in technical rescues. It lives at Station 52 on East College Parkway.
