Overwhelmed by an influx of cases, the Washoe County Health District is adjusting its COVID-19 contract tracing methods. They’ll now be prioritizing health care workers and first responders along with pediatric cases and households with multiple cases. For the first time, Washoe County’s active cases have surpassed 4,000 Wednesday, as the county inches toward a positivity rate of 14 percent.
