As a result of El Dorado County moving up to purple on the COVID-19 risk dial, indicating the most severe level of virus transmission, the Lake Tahoe Unified School District has reverted back to remote learning until further notice. The district says a significant number of staff members have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or have been forced to quarantine as a result of close contact.
