The state’s COVID-19 task force will hear plans later this week on how Washoe County intends to get its rising COVID-19 numbers down. Washoe County has shattered records since and Sunday marked the fifth week in a row where the county saw a positivity rate of 9 percent. The county must present its plans to the COVID-19 task force at an emergency meeting Thursday.
