Some CA national forests reopen as wildfires continue to burn

In California, as wildfires continue to rage, they’re getting a brief break from smoky skies. Westerly winds pushed the smoke out of the area, but it could be back as soon as tomorrow. The conditions allowed the U.S. Forest Service to ease restrictions in about half of the state’s national forests. Those that are open include Eldorado National Forest, Lake Tahoe Basin and Tahoe National Forest.
