Washoe County is one of eight counties with an elevated transmission risk of COVID-19, according to the state. What got us here-an 8 percent positivity rate, higher than the 7 percent maximum the state wants to see as well as twice the amount of cases per 100,000 people than the county should have. Because of its ranking, the county has had to submit an action plan to combat virus spread. That plan hasn’t yet been made public.
