Reno Police say the man arrested in connection with Monday’s alleged apartment arson is now charged with two counts of murder. Police say 31-year-old Brian Bandy of Sun Valley was also booked into the Washoe County Jail on charges of first degree arson and false imprisonment with the use of a deadly weapon. On Wednesday, the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office identified one of the two victims as 70-year-old Katherine White of Reno. The second victim’s name has not been released. The fire in the 300 block of Broadway Boulevard and was contained to the one building.
