A man faces a battery with a deadly weapon charge after police say he attacked a driver with an ax in Sparks. Police say it happened Monday on the 1,200 block of Satellite Drive. Police say Robert Mitchell struck the driver in the face with a handheld ax because he believed the victim was waiting there to see his ex-girlfriend.
