Lightning sparked a series of brush fires Tuesday night. The largest of the fires-the Railroad Fire is burning across from Phillips Ranch. It’s scorched 300 acres and is 80 percent contained. A fire on Peavine Mountain has burned 22 acres and is about 80 percent contained at last check. The Hill Fire near Hallelujah Junction burned 30 acres and is about 60 percent contained.
