Some drivers are taking advantage of less crowded roadways. The Nevada Highway Patrol says speeding is on the rise during the pandemic despite traffic dropping 70 percent. Statistics show they’ve stopped 196 drivers for speeding since the pandemic began compared to 223 drivers during the same time-frame last year- when no one was staying home by governor’s orders.
