A Reno VA Hospital nurse has died from coronavirus. Vianna Thompson died while in isolation in the same intensive care unit where she cared for patients for the past seven years. Her family shared in her last moments with her through FaceTime. Thompson, who was 52, became Washoe County’s fifth death from COVID-19.
