The Reno Events Center is now serving as a homeless shelter during the coronavirus crisis. News 4 reports since it’s empty with all concerts and events cancelled to prevent further spread of COVID-19, it’s now reopening to accommodate 400 homeless people-who can remain socially distant from one another. It will also have hand-washing stations.
