Two thousand Carson City residents have had their personal information stolen, following a hack of the city’s water bill payment system. According to the Carson City Manager’s Office, those that have been impacted will be receiving a letter from city officials. Staff said the breach was through an unauthorized code on the Click2Gov payment site developed by CentralSquare Technologies.
