Over 4,500 proposed Reno housing units are now in the pipeline after the city tallied the numbers from its ‘1,000 Homes in 120 Days’ initiative. There were applications for 1,600 housing units at the halfway mark, but City of Reno revitalization manager Aric Jensen says there were applications for over 4,500 units submitted before the final deadline on January 31. The program, announced in September as a way to relieve the housing crisis.
