The Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association (NIAA) says it will let international students at Excel Christian School play varsity sports. The Reno Gazette-Journal reports the settlement decision comes after a group of students at the Sparks school sued in a federal equal rights lawsuit last month. The lawsuit came after the NIAA threatened to cancel Excel’s athletic seasons for allowing international students to play.
