A new events center could be coming to Douglas County. It would be located in the Montbleu parking lot on Highway 50. The CEO of the Tahoe Chamber told Douglas County Commissioners the project would have capacity for 6,000 people. It would cost 90 million to build. The CEO of the Tahoe Chamber says he wants to ensure there’s no fallback on taxpayers if the project isn’t successful.
