Tiny homes are helping alleviate Washoe County’s homelessness problem. The sheriff’s office has donated $6,000 to Northern Nevada Hopes. The money will be put towards 30 tiny homes being built at Sage and 4th streets. Called Hope Springs, the community will provide sober living, where folks can live rent-free and have their own rooms, but share common spaces.
