Reno police say a man faces charges of murder and attempted murder after his arrest early Sunday morning. Police say 18-year-old Will Mendoza-Paniagua was booked into Washoe County Jail on Sunday on the two felony charges. Officials responded to the 3600 block of South Virginia Street on the report of a shooting. Two victims transported to an area hospital. One victim later died at the hospital and the while other victim remains in critical condition.
