A death last month in South Lake Tahoe has been declared a murder. Police found 61-year-old Jorge Campos dead inside his home on the 1000 block of Lodi Avenue on December 16, 2019. Originally, they said his death wasn’t believed to be suspicious-now that’s changed after an autopsy revealed he died from blunt force trauma. Deputies don’t believe there’s an ongoing threat to the community.
