ACLU of NV asks Sandoval to call off Dozier execution

The ACLU of Nevada is asking the governor to scrap the planned execution of a twice convicted murderer. Dozier was scheduled to die today but a stay of execution was granted after a judge said the state couldn’t administer a never-before-used cocktail of drugs to put Dozier to death. The ACLU wants Governor Sandoval to keep the state’s “de facto” moratorium in place. Nevada hasn’t executed anyone in more than a decade.
