Students Being Housed At Casino

The new semester got underway at the University of Nevada-Reno on Monday, but hundreds of returning students were dismayed to discover that the apartment complex they were planning to move into is still under construction. Construction crews are working 14 hours a day, 7 days a week on the Identity Reno complex on Virginia Street. Identity Reno offered the homeless students a couple of options. They can get 200 dollars a day to find their own housing till their apartment is ready. Or, they can stay in a hotel room at the Circus Circus in downtown Reno while collecting a $100 gift card per day to cover costs.
