It’s time to reach out and help those Lemmon Valley residents who have been displaced by flooding. The Washoe County Giving and Volunteering Committee is holding a donation drive to help flood victims with things like food and clothing. The date is this coming Saturday. They’ll be setting up a collection station at the Sheriff’s Office on Parr Boulevard. The drop off time is from 10 am till 4 pm. In addition to food and clothing, they’re accepting household items, pet food , toiletries and gift cards. All donations will go directly to Lemmon Valley residents who have been impacted by the ongoing flooding.
