Strategic command says ‘space junk’ typically not harmful

Could yesterday’s fireball in the sky actually have harmed us? The U.S. Strategic Command says probably not. What many thought was a UFO or a meteor shower turned out to be a Chinese rocket that was falling back down to earth. Strategic Command tells News 4 so-called space junk like that usually burns up. There’s a small chance a large object could hit Earth, but even if it did, the chances of it landing in water are high.
