A Reno man who is accused of killing and dismembering several dogs in his Reno motel room last summer entered a no contest plea in Washoe County District Court Thursday to all seven counts against him. Jason Brown is neither admitting or disputing guilt. He’s charged with torturing and killing dogs and with this plea he avoids the trial that was scheduled to begin June 22nd. Brown was arrested in July 2014 after detectives say they found a decapitated dog and four dog heads in a small refrigerator in his Reno motel room. He faces a possible 20 year prison term when he is sentenced in October.
