Gun supporters may soon be able to get their own license plates.
The Reno Gazette Journal reports the state Senate Transportation Committee has released a bill authorizing special plates that show support for the 2nd Amendment. The proposed license plate shows a frontiersman with a gun and the words “Battle Born” and “Protect the Second Amendment.” Proceeds from the plate would benefit the Nevada Firearms Commission with the money being spent on gun safety education and training. The bill passed unanimously in committee and now heads to the full Senate for a vote.
