A 60-year-old man pleads guilty to stalking high school athletes in Washoe County. Rodney Skan admitted to videotaping four high school girls in the fall of 2013. Police say a search of his Reno motel room turned up nearly 200 hours of footage taken at various sporting events, involving girls ages 14 through 17. Police say some of the footage dates back to 2004 and focuses on the girls’ private areas.
He faces a year in prison and a 2-thousand-dollar fine at sentencing in June. This mark’s Skan’s second stalking offense. He was convicted of misdemeanor stalking at Douglas High School after a parent noticed him videotaping girls during a sporting event and called the cops.
