Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam hosts awards ceremony this evening to honor staff for courage, compassion, and commitment to community. Twelve medals for Lifesaving, two for Meritorious Service, and four Bronze Stars highlight the awards earned by members of the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office family. The ceremony takes place at 5 pm at the Washoe County Commission Chambers, 1001 E. 9th Street, Building A, Reno.
