Smoking banned at Incline Village beaches, parks

Smoking is now banned at all beaches, parks, and recreational facilities in Incline Village. Trustees voted unanimously to forbid tobacco of any kind on all district owned and operated properties. No smoking signs will eventually be posted.

Reno-Sparks Convention Center to be Used as Alternative Care Site

Washoe County officials announced Monday that the Reno-Sparks Convention Center would soon be used as an alternative care site for coronavirus patients. The 600,000 sqft space can be transitioned quickly and used for a variety of events, this is why Washoe County said it was an ideal location for a potentially coming COVID-19 surge.
