A new Joining Forces campaign is underway aimed at stopping pedestrian deaths. The Nevada Highway Patrol has partnered with local agencies to ramp up patrols. They’ll be issuing citations to both pedestrians and motorists who violate traffic safety laws. The campaign comes after 378 pedestrians lost their lives on Nevada’s roadways between 2015 and 2019. The campaign runs through Saturday.
