Washoe County deputies had to rescue a stranded hiker over the holiday weekend. They were called to Hunter Creek Trail’s Gully yesterday. They say the 27-year-old climber did not have the appropriate equipment for this challenging climb and got stuck in the middle of the hill. He had to be rescued under difficult conditions via a high-low rope.
