Authorities said 911 service was down throughout parts of northern and southern Arizona and Nevada for a brief time Monday night and the cause wasn’t immediately clear. In Nevada, Reno police said the cause of the outages was under investigation after 911 was down in the Washoe County, Reno and Sparks areas.
