Washoe Co. Resident First to Test Positive for COVID-19 Twice in the U.S.

A Washoe County resident is the first person to contract the coronavirus twice in the United States. According to Dr. Mark Pandori, the director of the Nevada State Public Health Laboratory, the case involved somebody who was symptomatic and appeared to be sick. The resident tested positive, then negative twice and eventually tested positive a second time. The second time required hospitalization, according to Pandori.
