The missing boater was found dead with the help of El Dorado County Search and Rescue and cadaver dogs around 3 p.m. Thursday. He has been positively identified as Ian Morlang. Families and friends have been notified. There is no other information given at this time. Multiple agencies were searching for a boater who went missing after an accident on Tuesday afternoon. The South Lake Tahoe Police Department were called at about 5 p.m. on August 25 about the incident involving a sail boat.
