Reno-Sparks NAACP calls for calm after counter-productive movements damage cause

The Reno-Sparks NAACP is calling for calm after peaceful protests turned violent in response to the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Fire was reported inside City Hall in Reno, businesses and cars were damaged before tear gas was used to disperse crowds. The organization says disingenuous people are trying to create counter-productive movements that are damaging communities and taking away from the message of non-violent protesters.
