Another black bear euthanized in Lake Tahoe

A black bear is euthanized, marking the second time in a week the Nevada Department of Wildlife has had to kill a bear. 2 News reports the bear was trapped Friday in Kingsbury in Douglas County. NDOW says the bear had to be put down because he was dangerously close to homes and a threat to public safety. Last Tuesday, a bear was also euthanized in Lake Tahoe after it was caught tearing down fences and throwing around garbage cans.
