Nearly 250 people were cited during a ramped up “Click it or Ticket” safety campaign the past two weeks. The Washoe County Sheriff’s office says more than 100 people were cited for speeding, two dozen were cited for using their cellphones while driving, and eight were nabbed for not wearing their seatbelts. The campaign took place from May 11 until May 28 and coincided with the Run-a-Mucca motorcycle rally that draws extra traffic to the Winnemucca area.
