JetBlue flights between Reno, NYC now in air

Non-stop flights between Reno and New York City are finally happening out of Reno-Tahoe International Airport. Local officials rode the first JetBlue flight Thursday night, landing in Reno just before 9 p.m. They expect the route to be popular, especially in the winter for New Yorkers looking for a ski getaway in Lake Tahoe. The Reno-Gazette Journal reports that local officials are hoping Jet Blue will expand and cater to Reno residents by adding flights to West Coast cities.
