Bill passed in Senate puts research animals up for adoption

Nevada lawmakers unaninmously pass a bill aimed at saving animals from euthanasia.
Senate 261 authorizes labs to put animals up for adoption that had been used for research. The bill that passed is a watered down version of what was proposed. The original bill would’ve required labs to put the animals up for adoption and would have ensured that no animal was used for research for more than two years.
