Protesters target museum menu

A Reno museum was the site of a protest by activists rallying against the serving of duck and goose liver pate at a museum event. The group called Foie Gras Free Reno targeted an event at the Wilbur D. May Museum . A group leader says the menu items weer unacceptable, especially since the museum is operated by Washoe County. Protesters passed out pamphlets, some of which read, “There’s nothing tasty about animal cruelty.’
